Mosiac!!!

Mosiac!!!

burnt tar road
dry hot wind
sweat trickling down
body temp at a rise
heart pumping
muscles cramping
slowly, will burning!

destination no where in sight
the road just did not seem to die
slowly steadily, too egoistic to give up

the road suddenly bend
into the mountains
onto the ghats
F**K! there is more climb!
there was a hindsight!
but I pushed, pedaled

As i pushed, as i pedaled
I was bound by a spell
burnt trees
sun kissed grass
baked stones
dry earth
myriad
always used to green
caught  unaware
a thousand different shades
a mosaic,  with one colour
brown was it all around
a thousand different shades of brown
such cruel beauty
such merciless beauty
a thousand different shades of brown
like a child
Enchanted was I!!!

P.s Thanks to Andras -  to remind me of the beauty of the Sahyadri's.
